Questions About Pool Projects in the Inland Empire

How long does it take to build a new pool in the Inland Empire?

Most new pool builds in the Inland Empire take between 8 and 14 weeks from permit approval to completion. The timeline depends on design complexity, permit processing times in your city, and current contractor scheduling. Anderson Pool & Spa will give you a realistic schedule before work begins.

A C-53 is a California Swimming Pool Contractor license issued by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). It’s required for any contractor who designs and builds pools in California. Always verify a C-53 license before signing a pool construction contract. Anderson Pool & Spa holds C-53 license #796500.

Common signs include a rough or peeling surface, visible cracks or chips, persistent staining that won’t respond to cleaning, and increased difficulty maintaining proper water chemistry. Most pools need resurfacing every 10–15 years. Our team can inspect your pool and give you an honest assessment.

Fiberglass pools typically have a lower initial cost and require less maintenance over time due to their smooth, non-porous surface. Concrete (gunite or shotcrete) pools offer more design flexibility for custom shapes and sizes but cost more upfront and require more ongoing chemical maintenance. The right choice depends on your budget, lot, and long-term goals.

Yes. We build and service pools throughout the Inland Empire, including Riverside, San Bernardino, Ontario, Fontana, Upland, Claremont, Corona, Chino, Chino Hills, Redlands, Moreno Valley, Temecula, Murrieta, and Lake Elsinore, among others.

We do both. Our services include new pool construction, full pool remodeling, pool resurfacing, fiberglass pool installation, and commercial pool projects. If you have an existing pool that needs updating, we can assess what’s required and give you options at different price points.
